Merry Christmas

Oh I love this picture! we have always taken a picture of the kids in front of the tree on Christmas eve, well I had to work this Christmas eve so it got overlooked, so I had to take the picture Christmas morning... tee hee they look just a little sleepy! hum they are the ones who texted us, yes texted, (we no longer speak, we only text) to get up at 6:30, funny, me and Bart waited for them to all come downstairs and they never came so Bart went up and they had all fallen back to sleep, but we woke them up and had a nice Christmas morning, we did miss Kate and Cody and Jessie and Jentri but I guess I have to share!

Giving Thanks

I Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! we had a great day with family and food! it never ceases to amaze me how good the food is when the family gets together and everyone brings their favorites!! we did miss John and Rosalie but I'm sure they had a great day down south in the sunshine! We also celebrated Paiges Birthday she is 15! I cant belive it, yes she is driving now and yes it is kinda scary! (sorry honey) but no more scary than the last 4!!!

Birthdays, Halloween and more Birthdays

We love Halloween at our house and the fact that it is also Taylors birthday is just the icing on the cake!! our little pumpkin butt turned 13 on Halloween we had a great time and were so happy that Cody and Jessie and Jentri also came up to see us! it was so fun to see Jentri all dressed up like a lady bug and learnin how to trick or treat!! We also had a visit from Britni and Derrick and their little chicken Adysann, so cute! we also celebrated Jentri's 1st birthday the saturday before! we had a great time and after the party was over we went to Terror in the Tetons which was.... well... Terrifying!!!! it was fun to run around the creek bottom and have monsters chase you with chain saws and headlesss horseman chase you !!! it really put is in the mood for Halloween!!!

SPUD BREAK

I WAS LUCKY ENOUGH TO HAVE SOME TIME OFF OF WORK DURING SPUD BREAK TO PLAY WITH THE KIDS! HERE IS GRANDPA READING TO OUR LITTLE DARL'IN ! SHE IS SO MUCH FUN! I ALSO GOT TO DO SOME PROJECTS THAT HAVE BEEN NEEDING DONE AROUND THE HOUSE. I PAINTED MY BEDROOM AND BART HELPED ME PAINT SOME FURNITURE BLACK , IT TURNED OUT NICE , THANKS HUN! AND I HAVE HAD ALL MY CHILDRENS BLESSING CLOTHES IN MY CLOSET FOR YEARS AND I HAD WANTED TO DO SOMETHING WITH THEM BUT JUST COULD'NT DECIDE WHAT, SO A FEW MONTHS AGO I SAW THIS IDEA ON THE CREATIVE CRATE BLOG AND DECIDED TO TRY IT , I JUST LOVE LOOKING AT THEM AFTER ALL I AM SO BLESSED!

HE'S BACK!

WELL MY DEAR HUSBAND IS BACK AND BOY DID HE HAVE A GREAT TIME! HE LOVED EVERY MINUTE AND HOPES TO GO BACK SOMETIME MAYBE I'LL GET TO NEXT TIME! HE CAUGHT A LOT OF WEIRD LOOKING FISH AND BROUGHT HOME 100LBS OF FILET'S! WOOOO! I LOVE FISH! I WILL HAVE MORE PIC'S OF WEIRD LOOK'IN FISH FOR YOU TOMORROW!!

Well my sweetheart had a birthday on the 18th of Aug, not just any birthday the BIG 50, I had planned all along to throw a party and invite all the people that would have been happy to give him a big bag of depends and preperation H, black balloons and well you get the picture. Instead I decided to put a bug in the kids ear that their dad would really like to visit uncle Lance up in Alaska ( he and Deb are care taking a fishing lodge in Sitka) well as usual the kids did not disapoint! they pooled their money and bought a ticket to Sitka! and the really good news is that it turned into a job also! helping Lance and Deb with a few projects! yea a job! so Bart left last week and is having the time of his life fishing and helping his brother! thanks kids you are the best kids 2 parents could have asked for, you will never know just how happy you have made your dad!!!

Lake Time

We have been trying to get to the lake more this summer, last year we only went once ( am so ashamed!) so this year has been better and Chad has been making up for not getting to swim for 2 years! this is over at Big Elk and just in case you were wondering YES I tired to stop him from jumping! I really don't think it looks like fun but him and Jake think it does! we really had a great day!
