Wishing for Spring..........

Happy St. Patricks Day

I have been a horrible blogger for the past year !!! to say the least! but I'm going to try to be better and catchup on Life around here! Today we are seriously having one of those spring blizzards that I love so much (NOT) the wind is blowing 60mph and I can't see out the window! but hey its covering up the mud hole that is my soon to be yard!!! that cannot happen quick enough!!!I thought I would post a few pictures of how the house is coming a long so far, I need to take some new ones, Bart is working on cabinets today, not that we are ready for them but he has the wood and the time right now so then when we get the dry wall done, the cabinets will be ready. I try not to get to excited because it will be awhile but its hard not to just want to move upstairs! but for now we are warm and cozy in the basement and you can hardly hear that 60mph wind blow down here!!!!

We had such a wonderful Christmas! it was so good to have everyone together, as always! we are very cozy in our basement! I haven't blogged for so long!!! I have a lot of catching up to do! we moved out of the camper in November , when we had the 1st real cold snap and the water froze! good thing the basement was livable! we are working on the upstairs in-between snow storms, fun! thanks to Bart and Cody and Chad and Wade its going pretty well and I will take some pictures soon of the progress! hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas, we love you all and I felt bad not getting Christmas cards out for the 1st time in 32 years uggg!!! but life was just to hectic!  but Christmas came anyway! and we enjoyed the spirit so much this year! here are a few of the highlights!

A Weekend in the Woods

We had a great weekend up at Mosquito Creek Hunting Camp that Wade works at, we were able to stay cuz the hunters won't start coming in till the 2nd week of September. we had been there before for cookouts but this was the first time to stay the weekend. We did a little fishing and playing games and eating and horse back riding and it was great, just really fun to have all my kids together with no TV or internet!!! really so fun to just visit and play with the grand kids! There are no pictures of Paige because she had her wisdom teeth pulled a few days before and well so was not feeling to perky! and she looked like she had softballs in her cheeks! poor girl!!! Well it is good to get away every now and again  and even though i'm technically living in my camper …… I don't really concider it camping…. cuz its just not that fun when you HAVE to live in your camper!  I am looking forward to fall my favorite time of year! hopefully we will be in our new house around the end of Oct so I better gear up for a couple of months more of Camper Living!!!!
