This is our little tax deduction for 1990 ! she has been a joy for 21 years now! we love her, even when she pulls funny faces! this is her boy-friend Travis and he is every bit as good at pulling faces as she is !

We didn't do a lot for her birthday cuz she was busy snowboarding with Trav, and then we baked a little brownie cake and ate pizza, sang happy birthday, gave her some spakin's and some kisses and called it a night! we love you meggy and are so glad you came to us on that cold new years eve night 21 years

We had an enjoyable Thanksgiving with Bart's family we cooked up one of our home grown turkeys, his name is Tom ( we named them ALL Tom) he weighted about 28lbs can you say turkey sandwiches for a week! it was nice to be home and just being able to visit with family and relax after cooking and think about how many blessing we have, I'm so thankful for my Brother and sisters and that I had such wonderful parents, so thankful for Bart and my kids, I love them so much! I'm grateful for Bart's family and all they help me with when he is gone working in North Dakota. That is just a drop in the bucket but are the blessings that I hold dear!

Last week we decided at the last minute to run over to the South Fork and run up the canyon, we only had a few hours but it was well worth it! it was a little chilly but a beautiful day! we had Chad and Jodi and Megan with us so it was extra fun !

We had a little get together last weekend, Taylor's birthday inspired all kinds of weekend fun! We played Left Right Center, Megan was home and made the house spooky! Kate and Wade just got home from there honeymoon to the Dominican Republic and were glad to have real food again! Clint and Lori brought there Grand daughter , Whitley, she is so cute and made me miss my girls cuz mine are in California, The grand dogs dressed up too! We had fun !

Oh I love September, it seems like things slow down a little and you get to catch your breath and enjoy the last of the summer days, and since all we thought about, or did this summer was wedding related, its a nice change of pace! I have a lot of back blogging to do, I am waiting for the professional wedding pics to arrive so I can say more about Kate & Wade and Chad & Jodi's weddings. We had a great summer, just so busy. We also went to Martin's Cove with our ward , I have a lot of pictures so I hope to get them posted. I would really like to print my blog for our family journal so I have to get it all in. so I don't look back and say "What the heck, I can't believe that I didn't post that!" We did find time to put in a small square foot garden, and it over floweth now and we are enjoying the bean and peas and cucumbers, squash, cabbage, and herbs. I cant believe how much we grew in these little 4x8 plots! and not to much to take care of ! of course the teenagers help out a lot to! thanks girls! we also have some turkeys, ya I know crazy huh but Bart just loves raising birds! and i'm hoping they well taste good this winter! by the way they are all named "Tom".

Britni and the girls threw a nice Shower for Kate last night, Lori Calderwood was gracious enough to have it on her lawn ( thank you again) we had a great time! Kate got so many nice things, people are so generous! we are trying to pull the last few things together for the wedding but all the sudden it is coming fast! I will just say " I thought I handled stress better than this" nope I don't! cant sleep and cant remember anything! sorry everyone!
but hopefully all the major bases are covered. Katie has worked so hard ! I just want her to have a beautiful day!

We are into full Wedding Planning mode at our house! We did these cute save the date cards for Kate and Wade to send to the people who live far away. There are so many things to pull together, its all fun just a little stressful cuz ya don't want to forget anything!! Bart is home for the summer! thank heavens! and he seems to be picking up some work here and there so we are grateful. For those you who don't know Kate will be married on Sept 3, 2011 and Chad on July 30, 2011 We are so happy and feel like we hit the jackpot on our new son and daughter in law's they are so awesome and we already love them!

We are also getting ready to go to Martins Cove next week and are excited to have that experience with Taylor and Paige! We have our bonnets ready and our Mosquito repellant ready to go!

May has been a super busy month, while waiting for it to STOP snowing ! We celebrated Cody's Birthday with dinner and bowling, it was fun Cody and Chad have quite a rivalry but the Birthday boy won! but Jentri always beats grama! its not to hard to beat Grama! I had a nice Mothers day with breakfast in bed to kick it off!! we had a great day!

We have had lots of concert and recitals and softball , its all good just busy! I keep telling myself that we only have 4 years till our last little bird fly's away so I am trying not to wish it away! I love being a mother and am so grateful for them all! and all the business of motherhood! I'm a lucky girl!

EXCEPT FOR THE FACT THAT BART WAS IN SAN DIEGO :( BUT WE CALLED HIM AND PUT HIM ON SPEAKER PHONE AND WE ALL SAT AROUND AND VISITED AND SAID " ITS JUST LIKE YOUR ON A MISSION DAD" HA HA ! HE WAS JUST COMING HOME FROM CHURCH, THE AREA IS CALLED "CARDIF BY THE SEA" WHICH IS SUCH AN GREAT NAME FOR A WARD! AND BECAUSE ITS A CITY IN WALES! ANY WHO... BACK TO THE DAY! CODY AND JENTRI FLEW A KITE AND WE ATE AND WE WENT AND SAW WADE AND KATIE'S NEW SURPRISE COLT! AND WE ATE! WE VISITED WITH FAMILY AND WE ATE AND WE WATCHED THE 10 COMMANDMENTS AND DID I MENTION THAT WE ATE! AND TO MAKE THINGS REALLY NICE IT WARMED UP TO AT LEAST 40 DEGREES AND WELL THAT WAS SPRING! CUZ WE WOKEUP TO SNOW THE NEXT MORNING! ON A SPIRITUAL NOTE CHURCH WAS VERY GOOD AND I CERTAINLY FEELT THE SPIRIT SO STRONG ! TAYLOR SPOKE AND DID A GREAT JOB, AND TOLD A VERY TOUCHING STORY THAT REMINDED US OF WHAT OUR SAVIOR HAS DONE FOR US! IT WAS A BEAUTIFUL DAY IN MORE WAYS THAN ONE.

ON THURSDAY NIGHT I LOOKED OUTSIDE TO SEE CHAD OUT WITH WADES HORSES, HE WAS PETTING A LITTLE HORSE AND ALL I COULD THINK WAS , WHEN DID WADE PUT THAT COLT IN WITH THE OTHER HORSES? IT WAS ABOUT 2 SECONDS WHEN I REALIZED THAT THIS WAS A BRAND SPANK'IN NEW COLT AND KATIES MARE HAD JUST GIVEN BIRTH TO IT!!!! WELL IT HELPED THAT CHAD YELLED "HEY I THINK THAT HORSE JUST HAD THIS BABY!!!!!!!! I QUICKLY DIALED WADE AND SAID " HEY YOU KNOW YOUR 3 HORSES IN MY BACK FIELD HE SAID "YA" WELL THERE IS 4 HORSES NOW!!! AND HE SAID "WWWHATTTT!!! WELL WE HAD BEEN FEEDING THOSE HORSES FOR THE WINTER AND NOT ONE TIME DID WE THINK THAT ONE OF THEM LOOKED EXTRA FAT!!!! NO ONE HAD A CLUE!!! WELL OF COURSE WE WERE HAVING ONE OF THOSE LOVELY SPRING STORMS THAT BABIES LOVE TO BE BORN IN SO WE CALLED OUR HORSE LOVING NEIGHBORS, THE CALDERWOODS AND THEY CAME OVER AND WE PUT THE MOM AND BABY IN THE HORSE TRAILER AND TOOK THEM TO THIER BARN TO GET THEM OUT OF THE SNOW AND 30 MPH WIND! WHAT GOOD FRIENDS TO COME OUT ON A NIGHT LIKE THAT , DIG OUT THIER HORSE TRAILER AND GIVE US A HAND, WADE WAS TRYING TO GET HOME FROM RIGBY IN A STORM AND 6 INCHES OF SLUSH ON THE DRY FARM!!
HE IS A CUTE LITTLE GUY IS'NT HE!

Today is my sister, Melody's birthday. I found this great picture of her blowing out the 10 candles of her
birthday cake that our mother made. I don't remember this day cuz I was only 2 when she turned 10 but what great memories I do have of my big sister! I could not have asked for a better sister than her. Melody always loved me and I loved her. I can still remember her sitting up at night with me rubbing out my charlie horses and taking care of me when I was sick, I was so sad when she went away to college , but I didn't miss her cold feet, that girl had the coldest feet!! ha ha I wonder if they have ever warmed up!!! When me and my parents took her to the the MTC when she went on a mission to Norway, I cried all the way back to Boise. I thought she was going to be gone forever!!! She has always been such a good example to me and I have always looked up to her! What a wonderful Mother and Wife she is! she has a strong testimony that just radiates! I love her laugh and the twinkle in her eyes when she is around her beautiful grandchildren!! Happy Birthday Sister! I Love You!!!

For spring break this year we decided to have a Girls trip to SLC to do some wedding shopping! We had a great time! We shopped till we dropped and swam and ate at some really great restaurants. It was so fun to be with my girls, they are so much fun! Megan was starting a new job so she just came down with Cody and Jessie and Jentri to spend Sat night. So we decided to let Cody into the Girl Party cuz he drove all the girls down! We sent him to fly a Helicopter while the Girls shopped!!!!

Last weekend Cody ad Jessie and Jentri surprised me by coming up after church and Chad and Jody spent the day with us too! it was so fun, I really enjoyed being with them ! we went for a little "hay" ride when A.J. came by with his team, it was fun and Jentri loved it, she loves anything to do with horses. after that, since it was such a pretty day we drove over to the Elk refuge so me and Jessie could take some pictures of the Elk. We also saw quite a bit of wildlife! more than I expected! take a look...

I cant remember seeing wolves in the wild before, maybe once in Yellowstone, but now it seems I hear about people seeing them once and a while in the back country. Its definitely getting more common.

I got a SWEET new Nikkor 70-300mm lens for Christmas I love it, without it I would have never gotten these pics
it is hard to see from the pics just how big these wolves were, but we could see that they were BIG, there was a third one but he had just gone over the ridge before I started snapping the pictures.

Teton Valley Skijoring

Getting ready to race

This is Wade my soon to be Son in Law, what an awesome young man!

Last weekend we helped at the skijoring event that was organized by Kate. She had worked since summer getting it together, plowing through obstacles and not taking no for an answer, she is stubborn like that, in a good way! I'm really proud of her for taking on such a big project for the betterment of our community. It was not easy, but she did it ! The weekend turned out nice and I for one had a good time watching the races and flipping some burgers and it was a good excuse for Bart to fly home! Katie's soon to be husband, Wade worked for hours also getting the track ready and just helping to see that things ran smoothly. I just cant say enough how impressed I have been by him, We feel so lucky to get to have him in our family! I think they both gave a big sigh of relief to have this project over! maybe now we can get planning that wedding! september will be her before you know it!

Monday morning I got up early to go to work at the hospital, I thought, man I wish I could stay home and do the laundry today, it smells a little stinky! Taylor woke up and came in and said she didn't feel well so I said go back to bed and get some sleep, I well have Katie come over at lunch time. I went off the work and didn't think another thing about it.
I was super busy at work and was not to worried about Taylor she is 14 and can manage pretty well without me. Cody and Jessie came by the Hospital to tell me they were going to have a GIRL in July and I was so excited ! Cody said he was going past the house to pickup his snow machine. About 30 min later Bart called the hospital to say that Cody called him cuz the house was filled with Propane!!!!! I was so scared! Taylor had been there all day! I had Katie bring her to the ER she was having blurry vision, headache and trouble saying the right words. Oh my goodness she is O.K. after a little oxygen therapy and a call to poison control.
Cody took care of calling the propane company and I called the fire department and they all came out to help! the crawl space was flooded, and the main floor . Cody got a instant headache just walking in the house. thank heavens Taylor had gone upstairs during the day! and didn't try to cook anything!!!! or there would have been a big hole in the ground where my house use to be!!! and thanks to Cody he just happened by before Paige came home, I don't know if she would of recognized the smell! cuz I sure didn't!
The what if's are really scary! I know our guardian angels were looking out for us ! We are so grateful! The next day Paige was in a car accident with her friend Zack thank heavens they were all O.K. Maybe I should put them both in a bubble!! I was really scared to send Taylor up snowboarding for school today! I think maybe I'm a little paranoid! well Bart is flying home tomorrow and will get the propane back to working order but I'm not in a big hurry!! kinda scared of it now!!!!

Well I woke up this morning to Paige Saying "I'm sick" and then realized that Bart had been up all night sick too, and I slept through it all, thats what night shifts do to ya! Taylor who had been home sick yesterday was ready for school. so I quickly found my hubby some anti-nausea medicine and took Taylor to school . as we were driving I looked up at the temp gauge in the car and it read -20 and I thought "why are we having school today?" It has been really cold and its not uncommon to have school when its well below 0 but I just feel so sorry for those kids at the bus stop when its soooo cold!
So I feel like all I do is complain about the winter! I am trying to have a productive winter so at least I can say I accomplished something! but I do have a horrible case of I WANA go some place warm! POOR Bart he was headed to San Deigo on Monday and his transmission went out again (for the 3rd time) and stranded him in this FREEZER! and now he is sick ! Well i'm going to quit complaining and post some pictures of better times! This is Maui the last time we were there in I think 07'

Sweet Sixteen

A couple of weeks ago this darling girl turned sixteen, I dont know what happened to sixteen years but never the less they are gone and now I miss my "little girl" yep the one who would write on all the walls and stick the toilet plunger to her stomach, and would spill food coloring all over the kitchen! and put cookies in the VCR and hot rollers down the toilet! o.k never mind I'm glad she is sixteen! She is such a wonderful girl full of imagination, and stories to write, she never lacks for things to keep her busy! She wanted to go to the museum for her birthday, seriously what sixteen year old wants the museum for her birthday? well we had a great time! ya she is not your typical teenager but she is wonderful and I love her!

We just returned from a little trip to San Diego. Bart has been working there for awhile now and we were missing him so we flew down and then I drove home with him and the kids flew home to get back to school and work. We had so much fun showing the kids around San Diego and going to the beach and to Sea World but it is nice to get home and have Bart home for a little while.

We went to Provo in July for Megans Graduation from Beauty School, it was fun to be together, Katie had been there all afternoon but had to leave right before graduation to get back to Idaho. We can never seem to get all together in a picture! We are so proud of Meg for sticking to school through homesickness, poverty, and a dislike of the big city! hopefully she is on her way to a great career! I am selfish though and I really am enjoying her being around the house ! We stayed with Cody and Jessie and had fun celebrating July 24th Utah style! we went to the Parade in Ogden, which Cody was participating in, even though it was 105 in the shade! and had a great time hanging out with Jentri in the back yard!!!!

What a great weekend ! the only draw back was that it was chilly, yes chilly like in the 60's chilly, like take your sleeping bag and long underwear to the fireworks! So needless to say we did not make it to the lake cuz we knew we would freeze! but we had fun anyways, two of my nephews came up to the parade, Glen and David, Glen brought a friend, Britany, it was fun to meet her! and always good to see these guys ! In the afternoon we braved the crowds and went 4 hours early to get a piece of ground closeup to see Glen Beck and I have to say that it was sooooo good! That man can speak! he had the best stories about our founding fathers. A band from BYU-I played for about an hour before Glenn Beck and they just put you into a patriotic mood it was so enjoyable. The fireworks show was the best I have ever seen! what a great night! on the 4th the Woolstenhulmes got together in the evening up Game Creek and had a chicken fry, good food and good company! Cody and Jessie are staying with us for the week so I am enjoying having Jentri to play with!

Wow! a lot has been going on and I cant believe that June is just about gone! Megan came home to surprise me for my birthday! what a great surprise! we went out to Blacktail to watch her boyfriend, Travis wake board, He is very good and competes all around the northwest. It was fun to watch him . Then we went to Bear Lake for Taylor's all star tournament a couple weeks ago and I did the unthinkable.... I forgot my camera! I was so bummed! Cody and Jessie met us there as well as Jake and Sara. We had a great time camping and watching ball games and Taylor's team took 4th place out of 11 teams and the teams that beat us were from Boise and Pocatello and twin falls, Ya know places that play ball starting in march, not may! so I think they did really good! then I came home and got ready to go to Girls Camp, we had a great time and everything went smooth which was a blessing! we have the best girls they are so helpful and kind to each other. the stake did a ropes course the 1st day that lasted the whole day. I think the girls really learned a lot! I was on the stake camp board this year and my job was to put together skit sacks for all the wards, it was really fun to see what kind of skit they came up with using the stuff I put in the bags, they are so creative! Our theme was Courage and super heros, we had Sue Beard come and talk to the girls on having courage, she has survived so many trials and is such an inspiration, it was such a good talk, it makes me tearful just to think about it. So glad I have gotten to have those experiences with the girls. we finally made it to the lake last weekend and it was so relaxing! the kids had a great time! Chad and Jake had Sara and Jodi those girls are so much fun to be around! the water was just a tad bit cold but hey its only June! we ran up to Alpine and got some fireworks for the 4th of July which is coming right up, wow! you spend all this time waiting for summer to appear and then its here and gone!!!! i just hope we can enjoy it one day at a time!

A lot has happened in the last few weeks. Bart is back home and working in the shop building some beautiful cabinets he well head back down to San Diego on Sunday for a few days. Mothers day was so fun and I got lots of cards and fun stuff from my kids! I love em! we have been playing a lot of softball and Taylor and Paige's team is doing great and have only lost 1 game all season! I am working on camp for the stake and the ward and I think it is going to be so much fun! just hoping that it doesn't snow on us since it will be June and it usually does! The leaves are finally coming out and I think it might be spring here pretty soon! don't blink or you will miss it! here are a few pictures to sum up the last 2 weeks!

My girl Kate, my 1st born, had a birthday last week, she turned 27yrs old. and well... I feel Old... its a good thing that I'm not!!! LOL. I can remember the day that she was born like it was yesterday! I just fell in love with her and have loved her ever since. I think the baby days went a little slower because she was the first and I had time to take it all in! she was so much fun!! now those last two girls right there in the that picture.... where the heck did they come from and how the heck did they grow up so fast??? oh I just love them all!!!!!!

A Little Trip

I took a little spur of the moment trip last week to see my sweetie down in San Diego, He has been working down there for about a month and well, we are missing him a lot around here! but we are also grateful that he is working! so I hopped on a plane and away I went! it was so nice to get out of our snowy spring weather and into the beautiful weather of San Diego! what a beautiful city! Bart knows his way around really well ( he has work down there in the past) so he took me to all the sites and we had a great time!

This is the home that he is working at, it is soooo beautiful and the owners were so kind to let us stay there for a couple of nights! I judge all properties by the pool and this one gets a A+

We went over to Coronodo Island, very nice!

I said " honey get in that wagon so I can take a picture" and he did!Then I said " honey buy me some seafood" and he did!Then I said " Take me to the Car Show so I can covet over 2 thousand sweet old cars" and he did!!!!

Thats why I love him! we like the same things!

Then I had to come home cuz the children were sad and missed thier Mama! but it was a blizzard and I wanted to go back to San Diego where its beautiful!!!

We hope that everyone had a nice Easter weekend, I enjoyed listening to conference and having the kids around we had a blizzard on saturday and I'm not talking about the kind you buy at dairy queen! it snowed a lot and looked like this...

funny the birds think its spring! silly birds... it just wont quit snowing and well im getting pretty sick of it! it doesn't help that everyday when I talk to Bart down in sunny San Diego he has to rub it in that the weather is PERFECT! oh well at least one of us is warm!

We had a nice Easter morning, Meg got here and I got to watch the kids fight over finding the eggs! we got some little chicks, they are so cute and they make you think that it might be spring ...soon?

we did miss seeing Jentri this Easter but she was having fun with her parents and the Beards down in St. George.

Oh I love this picture! we have always taken a picture of the kids in front of the tree on Christmas eve, well I had to work this Christmas eve so it got overlooked, so I had to take the picture Christmas morning... tee hee they look just a little sleepy! hum they are the ones who texted us, yes texted, (we no longer speak, we only text) to get up at 6:30, funny, me and Bart waited for them to all come downstairs and they never came so Bart went up and they had all fallen back to sleep, but we woke them up and had a nice Christmas morning, we did miss Kate and Cody and Jessie and Jentri but I guess I have to share!

We love Halloween at our house and the fact that it is also Taylors birthday is just the icing on the cake!! our little pumpkin butt turned 13 on Halloween we had a great time and were so happy that Cody and Jessie and Jentri also came up to see us! it was so fun to see Jentri all dressed up like a lady bug and learnin how to trick or treat!! Well my sweetheart had a birthday on the 18th of Aug, not just any birthday the BIG 50, I had planned all along to throw a party and invite all the people that would have been happy to give him a big bag of depends and preperation H, black balloons and well you get the picture. Instead I decided to put a bug in the kids ear that their dad would really like to visit uncle Lance up in Alaska ( he and Deb are care taking a fishing lodge in Sitka) well as usual the kids did not disapoint! they pooled their money and bought a ticket to Sitka! and the really good news is that it turned into a job also! helping Lance and Deb with a few projects! yea a job! so Bart left last week and is having the time of his life fishing and helping his brother! thanks kids you are the best kids 2 parents could have asked for, you will never know just how happy you have made your dad!!!

While we were in Soda Springs playing ball we decided to go exploring ( me and Bart like to do this) and we found the reason they named the town Soda Springs!( you guys probably already knew this) cant remember the accual name of this place but the water bubbling up in this spot is just like drinking carbonated soda water! cool ! Taylor didn't really like the taste, but it was interesting!

well its been a while since I have posted but I do have a good excuse, I've been busy healing up from having my appendix taken out, and to be truthful I'm glad its gone I mean what are appendix's good for except to make surgeon's rich! and I don't ever have to worry that It will hurt like that again! I've seen a lot of people with acute appendicitis and they didn't look to happy and well, they were right, it is not any fun! surgery pretty much sucks too but it is better than the alternative!they could not do it through a scope so I have a bigger incision cuz my appendix was not where it was suppose to be,trust me to not be textbook! so It's kind of a hard way to get to use your sick leave at work, but hay ya got to look at the bright side don't ya! It's been nice being with the girls everyday. I got out of the hospital and hopped into the camper to go to Bear Lake to watch Taylor play softball( she is on the all star team this summer) well o.k. I didn't hop into the camper but I did lay around the camper and well It was nice cuz if I'm home I just can't stand to lay there and I get up and find things that need done so It was good to be away from it all!
Enough about me! Meg finally got moved to Provo even though I slowed her down a little, she is still looking for a job! so if anyone has any leads let us know. We are looking forward to having my brother and sister and some of their families for the 4Th it will be so good to see them! I love the 4Th of July I have such good memories of it when I was a kid! it was my moms birthday so It was a double holiday! we would always go to the Park and have a picnic with family, so fun!!!!!

be attending in Provo) she had to write an essay and then got picked to go to the school and do an updo, Paige was her Model, she did a really great job and I thought Paige was the prettiest model there! and the updo turned out just beautiful! there in a lot of competion, but we are hoping for the best! we will let ya know how she does at the end of the month!

I've been thinking alot about my Dear Mother this week, somtimes I just miss here so much I was eating chinese food with my family the other night and thought about how we loved to go and have chinese food when I would be visiting her in Meridian. Mom was always game to go out and have some fun! she enjoyed her family, her kids and grandchildren and her great grandchildren when they came along! mom had a great sense of humor and could find a chuckle in just about anything! I loved that about her! mom was one of the best cooks around, not fancy just good old, down home, make somthing out of nothin! cookin! she could make anything taste good! want potatoe soup a hundred different ways! she could do it!! I miss her playing the piano on sunday mornings, by ear, and singing along! she would dance in the kitchen while she hummed a tune. I miss that too!! So many things you take for granted when you are growing up!! Mom made me want to be a Mother! because she loved being a Mother and everything she did was for her family! I'm so glad that she got to welcome each one of my children, and kiss them and tell them how special they are! I'm just so grateful to have had such a wonderful mother and for all the good memories that she left me

Just a few pic's of the goings on around here, Easter was super nice with a visit from our Granddaughter! she is really good kissin!!! Meg finished up with Drill Team and had a wonderful year, Cavelcade was really fun! Going to State was fun also! cant believe that she is going to graduate, just seems like yesterday she was a baby, they just growup to fast!!!! She is really excited about moving to Provo to go to school at Bon Loose so we can have another beautition in the family!! Taylor finished up with jr. jazz basketball and we are on to softball! lots going on this time of year, all good stuff, to bad work interfers with life so much !ha ha!!! by the way its april 29th and there is 3 inches of new snow on the ground this morning!! yuk!!!!

Well I wish I could say that it was spring here in Teton Valley but its NOT! but all the animals think it is and they are doing good dispite the cold weather. we are happy to have new kittens and really happy only 3 popped out, cuz the mother (Lori) looked like she might have 12! our goats are doing great and they are so funny to watch they love to play king of the hill with the chickens! lol they have personalities already!

Well its time to catchup! where does the time go? 1st yes that is a goat in my living room! we got home from Utah on sunday to find 4 baby goats! these two are twins and had been born just before we got home and the little tan one was not doing well( We were right in the middle of one of those lovely spring storms and it was really cold and snowing hard) and I really thought it was going to die but I brought it in the house and warmed it up in the tub and it slowly came back to life and is doing well with its mother and the other babies. they are soooo cute!

We got a nice surprise the other day! Cody and one of his students landed in the field in back of our house, it was fun to watch him come in and take off. they also flew down to the Driggs airport and landed there and we had lunch with them and then they flew home. He and this same student are going to fly to Seattle next week. I'm happy he loves his new job so much, If you love your job you never WORK a day in your life!!! love ya son.

I always feel this way in February! I save up all my get organized/catchup the scrapbooks/read a good book or two... for the long cold Jan/Feb/March days but it always hits me half way through Feb that time just leaves me in its tracks!!! and I can never get through everything that I would like to!!! but life is to short to sweat the details !!! or so I try to tell myself!! more importantly one of my resolutions this year was to stay in better contact with loved ones, and friends. I think that is really important so with the help of technology I vow to keep in touch!! I was blessed to be born and also to marry into a great families!!! it really is who I am and I am grateful!!! and also so grateful for my own family!! here are a few more pictures of my grandaughter!!! she is so much fun to take pictures of!!!!! Jentri Kay is 3 months old now and what a little dolly! her parents were kind enought to bring her to Pocatello so that I could kiss those checks!!!! it was nice to see them too.

we went out to Pocatello High School on Saturday for a Drill team comp. the girl danced very well and they came away with 1st place for their military routine and 2nd place for kick and dance!

Well I hope the polka dots dont make anybody dizzy!! I've been wondering how all you crafty people out there do those cute personalized headers so I thought I would give it a try and well after some trial and error I did it! and well, it was really fun!

I thought I should write a note and say it is so good to have Chad home its been so fun to ask him questions about Japan. It really is such an interesting culture. I think he misses Japan and the people he left behind but he is ready to get going with life and school!

I just love January I feel like time slows down a little and it really feels good to catch my breath and think about what is really important! hope you all are feeling it too!!! love ya Julie

well I cant sleep so I thought I would post a few pictures from Chads latest area and his last area. We will be picking him up tommorrow afternoon if ..... the roads open and the airplane lands! its a blizzard outside right now ! I just knew this was going to happen but I really feel that everything will work out tommorrow . Im so excited to see my boy, I have missed him so much lately. I think you kinda dont let yourself think about it to much for 2 long years but the month they come home you think about them constantly !!!! I am so proud of him for everything he has done on his mission. I know it was hard to learn the language but he did it !! well I wont get all gooey ! I just love him alot, like most moms love thier sons!!!

well we have been listening to Christmas music for awhile at work and in the car and well.... ya at home so pretty much all the time so I just could'nt resist changing my blog for the Christmas season and thought I would share some pics of Christmas past. 2006 was the last time we were all together before Chad left on his mission. so he will be home on Dec 23rd and well I sooooooo excited and overwhelmed with JOY !!!

cupcake, no plates or forks!! hey I think somebody stole a couple
before the picture was taken!

Wow does'nt time just fly!!! just seems like yesterday that I was telling Bart "I think we are going to have a Halloween baby"! and well its twelve years later! what a joy she has been!!! we had a great party with 18 of her friends !!! love ya tater

What can I say! she is so beautiful and we are so thankful that she is healthy and doing well and Jessie too!! she arrived Oct 24th @ 01:12 she weighed in at 4 lbs 8 oz. what a relief seeing the respiratory therapist leaving the room 3 minutes after he had arrived because his services were NOT needed!!! yahoo!!
everybody is happy!!! we just love her so much!!

Megan took her long awaited and saved for trip to San Luis Obispo during spud break to see her friend Hailey who is a nanny for six months. I'm glad that Hailey let her come back home to finish High School !!! I think they had some fun!!!
